Take a hike on the Red Mountain Trail, and a fine place like Sierra National Forest is too wonderful to leave out. There's a splendid forest right next door to Giagantea Campground called McKinley Grove; Muley Hole is a great spot to check out. Throughout the long summer days at Giagantea Campground highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. |
During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows at Giagantea Campground through the winter usually drop into the 20's. It's not possible to run out of amusing stuff to do close to Giagantea Campground; if you're seeking a tremendous place to go for

Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Dinkey Creek. This campground is so delightful. Deer Creek is a magnificent place to visit, and going for a hike along the Bobs Flat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
