General Creek Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California

  Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Homewood if you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around General Creek Campground; Red Peak Trail is a great local trail. Good hiking is available along the General Creek Trail, and you are in close proximity to Meeks Bay if you're here.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. You'll come across a stunning lake called Stony Ridge Lake near General Creek Campground, and if you
    come at the right time of year, Silver Creek - South Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. This campground is a brilliant place to check out. General Creek is a great local stream, and drift down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak.
These mountains rock, just
explore all the fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. On a lovely day you can take a look at Lester Beach close to General Creek Campground; Lonely Gulch is a splendid place to spend some time. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always stunning. Summer at General Creek Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for General Creek Campground.
Don't leave General Creek Campground without first going for a
 
hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Truckee River. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t get bored.
General Creek Campground is very well prized by the folks from Tahoma. A journey to General Creek Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by D. L. Bliss State Park; Calawee Cove Beach is a lovely beach to check out.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at General Creek Campground; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest. Lots of folks stay here for the purpose of being near Sugar Pine Point State Park. The splendid variety of local attractions and the splendid variety of outdoors recreation are nice reasons to come.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll love General Creek Campground. Sugar Pine Point State Park is worth stopping at if you're at General Creek Campground; if you're visiting from Tahoma, you won't be the only one. You absolutely should have a thing about the Northern Sierra Nevada. So much amusing stuff to do here at General Creek Campground, too magnificent to be true. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highland Trail; there's wonderful hiking along the Big Spring Trail.
Outdoors people generally love this part of California. At General Creek Campground fun stuff to do is plentiful; when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like a different person.
