There hasn't been camping on that lake for nearly 11 years. While the fishing is great, you can't stay there after the sun sets. If spending too much time indoors got you down, No problem; Fuller Lake Campground, California is a tremendous site for getting out. People from Emigrant Gap love to come to Fuller Lake Campground, and tremendous hiking is available along the Crooked Lakes Trail. Throughout the summertime months at Fuller Lake Campground temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Fuller Lake Campground overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Looking for some flowing water? Try Jordan Creek, and spots like Tahoe National   Forest are splendid to check out. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored. California has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. This campground is a charming site to stop by. A pretty lake like Fuller Lake close to Fuller Lake Campground is a wonderful spot to stop by, and going for a hike on the Eagle Bird Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Malakoff Diggins State Park is a good location to stretch your legs a bit; you can hit the slopes at Soda Springs around here. This is such a fun site for a campground. Don't leave Fuller Lake Campground without first going for a hike along the Canyon Creek Trail; you can run the rapids of American River - North Fork. Near Fuller Lake Campground you find the Spaulding Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail. The delightful local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. Just can't get enough of Fuller Lake Campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yuba River - South Fork, and there are nice locations to discover along the Round Lake Trail. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. There's whitewater on Fordyce Creek for all you thrill seekers; a wonderful view of wonderful Clyde Mountain is available. Fuller Lake Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Fuller Lake Campground is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July.
