Friis Campground, Santa Lucia Range, California   A visit to California is not complete without some camping. So many fun things near Friis Campground, and it is a very good campground. Lingo Canyon is right next door to Friis Campground and is absolutely a brilliant site to stop by; soar down the rapids of Cuyama River in a kayak. This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Santa Lucia Range. Friis Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks of Santa Margarita. Just can't get enough of the Santa Lucia Range. This is a popular site for folks     from Santa Margarita, and the peak of Black Mountain can be observed from Friis Campground. There's fine hiking along the Hi Mountain Trail, and Pismo State Beach is a fine spot to stop at. Not much rainfall falls here at Friis Campground; most of the rain falls throughout January while June is commonly the driest month. This is truly a brilliant campground. The Machesna Trail offers hiking at its best; Morro Bay State Park is a glorious location. So many enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Friis Campground, simply fantastic. Good hiking is available along the Fernandez Trail. During the summer months, highs commonly are in the 90's at Friis Campground with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Friis Campground are in the 30's. It's really   bad for you to be in a building every day; you have to get out sometimes, and Friis Campground in California is the outdoors at its greatest. Some of the things you can do here at Friis Campground are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.
