Fowlers Campground, Southern Cascade Range, California Custom Search   This campground is definitely one that I have thoroughly enjoyed staying. While it was not anything special or out of the ordinary, the staff was friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere was very family friendly. I would suggest Fowlers to any family wanting just a nice vacation together, but if you are a camping enthusiast and are used to having high standards for your camping experience, you may want to search around a bit more before you decide       to stay at Fowlers as it may be a bit more mediocre than what you are used to camping at. All the good local attractions close by and such a good variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely       have you coming back over and over. At Fowlers Campground entertaining stuff to do is bountiful; when you're here you're always having a magnificent time. Fowlers Campground is situated in the Southern Cascade Range.   It's completely out of the question to get bored in California if you fancy the outdoors. You find the 10-mile-in-distance Fowler Campground to McCloud Reservoir section of McCloud River nearby; this is a type III-IV whitewater segment. For whitewater rafting or kayaking this segment of McCloud River is an amusing place.
