It's impossible to run out of exciting things to do near Forbes Campground; it is a very tremendous campground. A journey to Forbes Campground wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Malakoff Diggins State Park, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the American Eagle Trail. So many cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just amazing. If the weather is tremendous here at Forbes Campground, you can go for a hike along the Green Valley Trail, and the panorama of pretty Cottage Home Hill is great. Whitewater paddling is good on American River - Middle Fork; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Euchre Bar Trail. Going for a camping trip here in California is something you should do. This campground is so nice. Succor Flat is a tremendous place to check out; there are glorious spots to look at along the Italian Bar Trail. This camp ground is one of the fine sites to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Forbes Campground is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
