Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Trinity River, and Weaverville Joss House State Park is both pleasant and pretty.

down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to East Weaver Campground.
Don't leave East Weaver Campground without first going for a hike along the Bluford Trail, and there's whitewater on Trinity River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies. Loads of folks stay at this campground in order to be close to Weaverville Joss House State Park. This campground has everything.
Be careful coming to East Weaver Campground, you might not ever wanna go back home again. You're sure to run into some fine people from Weaverville here, and some of the water nearby flows, like East Branch East Weaver Creek. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Musser Flat is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Canyon Creek.
