Douglas City Campground is a campground relatively frequently visited by the folks of Douglas City. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always lovely. As if Douglas
 City Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
A number of folks camp here throughout their trip to Weaverville Joss House State Park. 2,510 feet is the height variation of nearby Bluford Trail. Bluford Trail is 3 miles of trekking passing through some very pretty spots. When you're trekking the demanding Bluford Trail you must set aside more or less four and a half hours for the walk. The 1,022 foot variation between top and bottom Divide Trail is a striking site to go backpacking; it's 6.7 miles of great backpacking. Hiking the Divide Trail, a demanding backcountry trail, takes
 
around five hours. You'll find a stunning lake called Echo Lake near Douglas City Campground, and on a delightful day you get a good panorama of Union Hill from Douglas City Campground.
