If you're here, you might as well pop by Little Baldy Saddle; if you come at the right time of year, Kaweah River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater. This camp ground is positioned in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Sierra Nevada for a fine time. Little Baldy is clearly visible from Dorst Campground, and Dorst Campground is not the only place nearby, Weaver Lake is a nearby lake. Dorst Campground is a campground esteemed by people in Sequoia National Park. There's more to do close to Dorst Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so possibly you want to stick around for a while.
