person. There are perfect places to look at along the Hockett Meadows Trail. There's so much to do at Dorst Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Dorst Campground gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year
is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a location this is for outdoors people. If the weather is pleasant here at Dorst Campground, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail, and
whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kaweah River - North Fork. This is such a good campground. There is a great hiking trail near Dorst Campground called the Don Cecil Trail, and Cabin Meadow is right here at Dorst Campground. This
camp ground is one of the glorious places to camp here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. High temperatures at Dorst Campground all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly
