Doran Campground is a quite wet place typically with lots of precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is commonly the driest month. Doran Campground is a very popular campground with visitors from Bodega Bay.
If you want to hit the beach, Doran Beach is in the neighborhood, and Bodega Harbor is reasonably close. Many people stay here in order to be in close proximity to Doran Beach.

Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's while Doran Campground night low temperatures during the winter are in the 40's.

Trail is a fine local trail; Sonoma Coast State Beach is a great spot to stop at on a pretty day. This campground is a delightful spot to stop by. On a good day it's a wonderful idea to spend the day at South Salmon Creek Beach, and Point Reyes National Seashore is a magnificent
national park.
At this campground you will always have a glorious time. Go for a hike on the Tomales Point Trail; whitewater paddling is glorious on Mark West Creek. There is so much enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Doran Campground, and it is one of a lot of delightful
campgrounds in this region.
California has a lot of outdoors activities. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike on the Monte Rio Fire Trail is always a fine adventure; you'll meet a lot of folks from Bodega Bay here. If you're feeling down from
spending too much time inside, Don't fret; Doran Campground in California is a delightful pick.
You truly should like Doran Campground. A fine site close to Doran Campground is Doran Spit, and paddling on Little Sulphur Creek is so much fun.
