and do take a hike on the Government Canyon Trail. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Bernardino Mountains. A pleasant site in the neighborhood of Dogwood Campground is Dogwood Canyon; Silverwood Lake State Park is a delightful
spot to stretch your legs a bit. Dogwood Campground is usually a pretty arid site; February is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Places like Grass Valley are brilliant to stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fredalba
Trail. High temperatures at Dogwood Campground during the summertime months are in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Dogwood Campground tend to be in the 20's.
