and the summit of Boucher Hill can be seen from Doane Valley Campground.
The Alessandro Trail offers hiking at its best. Going for a hike on the Gomez Trail is always a good adventure; get yourself into a kayak and hit Escondido Creek. Not much rain falls here at Doane Valley Campground; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture.
