Kern River - South Fork is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Diaz Lake Campground, and do take a hike on the Mount Whitney Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Diaz Lake Campground commonly; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. This camp ground is one of the fine spots to camp here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. So many local attractions and so much stuff to do will make you glad you came.
