obtain at Mt Waterman. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Gabriel Mountains. Going for a hike on the Stone Canyon Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Gold Canyon Trail. Diamond Campground gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is February, and July on the other hand is the driest. The San Gabriel Mountains scenery is always scenic.
