Tahoe National Forest is a great spot to go if you're at Dewey Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yuba River - South Fork. Everybody must go camping every so often, and Dewey Campground in California is the outdoors at its most excellent. Dewey Campground is a wonderful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Sierra Nevada. Having a fine time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated.   Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - South Fork; let's not forget Little Duncan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. California is a great spot for outdoors people. Eldorado National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Dewey Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dewey Campground; Hunters Trail is a fine local trail. At Dewey Campground amusing stuff to do is bountiful, and if you're searching for a great spot to go camping, this is a splendid selection. But wait, there's more to do next to Dewey Campground.
