  This place, Dewey Campground, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Rubicon River, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Tevis Cup Trail.
But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Looking for something near Dewey Campground? French Meadows Reservoir is in close proximity, and the skiing at Royal Gorge is magnificent. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Dewey Campground is next to L L Anderson Dam which is a beautiful site beyond doubt worth
    stopping at, and the Sailor Flat Trail offers hiking at its best.
Dewey Campground is right by the Parsley Bar Trail, and needless to say, A visit to Little Duncan Canyon is always fun. As if Dewey Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling,
and fishing, so there's no way to get bored.
This campground is a great place to go to. Tahoe National Forest is a great spot to go if you're at Dewey Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yuba River - South Fork. Everybody must go camping every so often, and Dewey Campground in California is the outdoors at its most excellent. Dewey Campground is a wonderful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Having a fine time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated.
 
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - South Fork; let's not forget Little Duncan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. California is a great spot for outdoors people. Eldorado National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Dewey Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dewey Campground; Hunters Trail is a fine local trail.
At Dewey Campground amusing stuff to do is bountiful, and if you're searching for a great spot to go camping, this is a splendid selection. But wait, there's more to do next to Dewey Campground.
Here at Dewey Campground there are plenty of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley, and do take a hike on the Rubicon Trail. The great local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back time and again. Dewey Campground mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dewey Campground. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Dewey Campground nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's.
