| | Devore Campground is a tremendous camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the San Gabriel Mountains. This segment of California is always a joy to stop by during camping season. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Devore Campground. A day on the slopes of Mt Waterman is just what you need, and going for a hike on the Mount Wilson Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Devore Campground is near Angeles National Forest which is a lovely place, and the peak of Mount Zion can be distinguished from Devore Campground.

Newcomb Pass is a brilliant location to spend some time at, and nearby you stumble on the Upper Winter Creek Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This campground is always a bliss. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Eaton Canyon Golf Course, and getting to
| Rush Creek from Devore Campground is painless. Just can't get enough of the San Gabriel Mountains. There are other places here than Devore Campground, for example Cogswell Reservoir; the Gabrielino National Scenic Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
Through the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Devore Campground. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Here at Devore Campground there are plenty of folks from Sierra Madre. This is such a fun site for a campground. Pio Pico State Park is a nice location to stretch your legs a bit, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Winter Creek
Trail.
The good local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back over and over. Many people stay at this campground in order to be in the vicinity of Angeles National Forest.

to do in the San Gabriel Mountains. For you golfers we recommend nearby Altadena Golf Course, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Santa Anita Trail. Devore Campground is a top choice campground with people of Sierra Madre. At Devore Campground you don’t see much rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
