Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, and Denny Campground in California is such a good place. The wonderful choice of local attractions, and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back time and again. There's a load of outdoors recreation available close at hand |
such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so probably you want to stay for a while. A campground like this is too great to miss. A trip to Weaverville Joss House State Park when you're here at Denny Campground is a great idea, and don't forget to take a tremendous little spree
| to Rancheria Creek. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Denny Campground has it all. There are plenty of folks from Burnt Ranch here at Denny Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River, and going for a hike on the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is always a perfect adventure. December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. So much exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Denny Campground, and it sure is a good campground. Trinity River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are fine sites to
discover along the Grouse Creek Tractor Trail. Denny Campground is liked by folks in Burnt Ranch. This camp ground is positioned in the gorgeous Coast Ranges. Nearby Dry Gulch is a glorious place to go if you're at Denny Campground, and close by you discover the Horse Ridge
National Scenic Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. At Denny Campground through the days of summer highs are in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Denny Campground tend to be in the 30's.
