Take a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail; a journey to Stanislaus National Forest is a great idea. A nice spot like Echo Canyon State Park near Deadman Campground is too magnificent to leave out, and the Corral Valley Trail offers hiking at its best. Throughout the months of summer at Deadman Campground temperatures are generally in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Deadman Campground temperatures fall to the 10's.
