Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Deadlun Campground called the Nelson Flat Trail; why not a little side visit to Deadlun Creek.
There are some great whitewater spots on Pit River, and pleasant hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17. The nice variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come.
Deadlun Campground is positioned
 
in the Southern Cascade Range. This campground is so glorious. Glide down the rapids of Pit River in a kayak, and don't leave without stopping by Castle Crags State Park. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. If you come at the right time of year, McCloud River offers some splendid whitewater, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mount Shasta.
If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is a good site to go if you're at Deadlun Campground, and close by you find the Cone Point Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
This campground has so much entertaining stuff to offer. Going for a hike on the Angel Meadow Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Deadlun Campground is not far at all from Big Bend. Ok, it's the right time to go camping, so what do you say? Deadlun Campground in California is just the spot.
