The Bull Run Cattle Drive offers hiking at its best; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. Take a hike on the Tobias Creek Trail, and hey, Freeman Creek is a tremendous local stream. If you come to this campground, you will have a fine time for sure. Shirley Meadow has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and Rough and Ready Mountain is charming and can be seen from here. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always striking. |

There's delightful hiking along the Virginia Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lake Stockton is a lake around here. Outdoors folks generally adore this part of California. Davis Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people in Glennville. Davis Campground. Just can't get enough of the Southern Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Sled Trail, and Kern River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. This campground has so much. Davis Campground is in the neighborhood of Sequoia National Forest
which is a picturesque spot. At Davis Campground during the days of summer highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight
