Damsite Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's whitewater paddling, fishing, hiking, and swimming, so probably you want to stay for a while. This campground is so delightful. What would winter be without some skiing at Kirkwood; don't leave without visiting Grover Hot Springs State Park. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carson River - East Fork; since you're here you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail.
