Crowsfoot Campground is near Sierra National Forest which is a lovely place, and Crowsfoot Campground lays in the shadow of the Chowchilla Mountains. A day on the slopes of Badger Pass is just what you need; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail. Crowsfoot Campground is exceptionally popular with folks in Yosemite National Park. At Crowsfoot Campground you can catch a glimpse of Chowchilla Mountains, and whitewater paddling is nice on Big Creek. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Crowsfoot Campground.
