Creek Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Five Lakes Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; a round of golf at nearby Tahoe Donner Golf Course is a tremendous way to kill some time. This is a good campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Painted Rock Trail, and you might also want to pay a visit to Coldstream Valley if you're here at Creek Campground. A visit to California is not complete without some camping. A day on the slopes of Tahoe Donner is just what you need; getting to Cold Creek from Creek Campground is uncomplicated. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Truckee River, and Old Greenwood Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by. For the period of the summertime highs here at Creek Campground reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Creek Campground descend into the 10's.
