| | This place, the Sierra Madre, has so much outdoors entertaining things. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piru Creek; lots of people from Fillmore come here. Whitewater paddling is good on Piru Creek, and Hungry Valley State Park is a tremendous site to go. Cow Springs Campground is right by the Alder Creek Trail.

is too good to miss. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Sierra Madre, not sufficient time. The panoramas
| at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area will blow your mind; hiking is a popular thing to do around Cow Springs Campground; Upper Sespe River Trail is a great local trail. Some people stay here to be near Hungry Valley State Park. Quite a lot of fun stuff to do right next door to Cow Springs Campground, and to be here is good fun any time.

Just can't get enough of Cow Springs Campground. Sespe Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a lake close by is Brownstone Reservoir. This campground is so pretty. There's delightful hiking along the Bucksnort Trail, and don't forget
to take a splendid little journey to Squaw Creek.
Summer at Cow Springs Campground comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and night lows during the wintertime for Cow
Springs Campground tend to be in the 30's. Cow Springs Campground is a magnificent camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Sierra Madre. At Cow Springs Campground you don’t see much precipitation; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the
other hand is the driest.
