Cove Campground, Sierra Madre, California   That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Sierra Madre has it all. Places like Hungry Valley State Park are delightful to pop by, and the Pothole Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This is a popular location for people from Piru, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Piru Creek. If the weather is glorious here at Cove Campground, you can go for a     hike along the Whiteacre Peak Trail; a pleasant visit to Devils Potrero is a great way to spend an afternoon. Cove Campground gets very little rain; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain while July is typically the driest month. This is a nice campground. There is a good hiking trail near Cove Campground called the White Mountain Trail; Piru Creek is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. The tremendous local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Cove Campground is a campground that is very prized by the people of Piru. Finally, the time is right for camping once more, and Cove Campground in California is precisely the place. This camp ground is to be found in the beautiful Sierra Madre. California is a fine place for outdoors people. A lot of people stay here   to stop at close by Hungry Valley State Park. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cove Campground. A good place in close proximity to Cove Campground is Big Narrows, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sespe Creek. The warmest time of the year at Cove Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 60's; overnight lows at Cove Campground through the winter mostly fall into the 30's. Near Cove Campground you stumble on the Bucksnort Trail which is a great hiking trail. This campground is so nice. Castaic Lake State Park is a nice place, and hey, Sulphur Creek is a great local stream. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever want to go back home again. While you're here at Cove Campground you can take a hike along the Agua Blanca Trail, and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a very good place to take a look at.
