Cottam Campground, Sierra Madre, California   Some people stay at this campground to be next to East Beach. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Cold Spring Trail. This campground is always a bliss. A journey to Channel Islands National Park is worthwhile, and obviously, this is a pleasant region for people who like lakes, Buell Reservoir is a lake around here. Be careful coming to the Sierra Madre, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Some of the water nearby flows, like Mono Creek, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Blue Canyon Trail. At Cottam Campground through the summertime months highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's while the cold winter nights at Cottam Campground are in the 30's. Not much precipitation falls here at Cottam Campground; during February this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Beaches are fine; and East Beach right next door to Cottam Campground is no exception, and hiking along the San Ysidro Trail is perfect fun. Outdoors people generally fancy this sector of California.
