Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. Cottonwood Creek is in close proximity to Copper City Campground and is always a pleasure to explore, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Grindstone Creek. A lot of people opt for Copper City Campground in order
to be near Mendocino National Forest. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. If the weather is brilliant here at Copper City Campground, you can go for a hike along the Crooked Tree Trail, and whitewater paddling is not
for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Black Butte River. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Copper City Campground called the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail, and as expected, this is a delightful area for folks who like lakes, Keller Lake is
a lake close by. The delightful local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back many times. Throughout the summertime months at Copper City Campground temperatures are typically in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge
down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Copper City Campground fall into the 30's.
