At Cold Water Campground enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful; camping is such a fun activity, and this is a pleasant location to do that. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Cold Water Campground; Sherwin Lakes Trail is a fine local trail, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork.
