High temperatures at Cold Springs Campground during the summer months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows at Cold Springs Campground throughout the wintertime generally plunge into the 30's. A lot of fun is at this campground. There is a brilliant
 
hiking trail near Cold Springs Campground called the Waterspout Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River - South Fork. A common amount of rain falls here at Cold Springs Campground; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
All the outdoors entertaining things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back many times. On a great day at Cold Springs Campground you can take a hike along the Ben Arthur Trail, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Hayfork Creek. While you're here at Cold Springs Campground you can take a hike along the Ruth Hayfork Trail; a good spot is Road Gulch. Hiking along the Rough Gulch Trail is nice fun; some of the water close by flows, like North Fork Philpot Creek.

California has loads of outdoors activities. Any time is a glorious time at Cold Springs Campground if you fancy the outdoors. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a splendid sight of Post Mountain from Cold Springs Campground, and Hayfork Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
