| Going for a hike on the Sawtooth Pass Trail is always a glorious adventure. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. California has a lot of outdoors activities. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Cold Spring Campground; the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. at Cold Spring Campground is too wonderful to miss; Cold Spring Campground is not the only spot nearby, Mineral Lakes is a nearby lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There's perfect hiking along the High Sierra Trail, and in
the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kaweah River - Middle Fork. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cold Spring Campground. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Kaweah River, and a visit
to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is recommended. This camp ground is to be found in the pretty Southern Sierra Nevada. All year is a splendid time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. Kern River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby,
and Timber Gap is another perfect place to visit nearby. Some of the water nearby flows, like Mosquito Creek, and don't leave Cold Spring Campground without first going for a hike along the Atwell Hockett Trail.
