Summertime highs at Cold Spring Campground regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cold Spring Campground dip into the 20's. is a good location nearby. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always wonderful. Places like Eagle Sinkhole are great to stop by; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kaweah River. So much amusing stuff to do at Cold Spring Campground,
so little time. There are other places here than Cold Spring Campground, for example White Chief Lake, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Hockett Meadows Trail.
