Primitive campgrounds like these are a perfect way to get out in the fresh air; there aren't loads of conveniences at Cliff Campground as it is a primitive campground. California is a glorious outdoors state. It's out of the question to run out of enjoyable stuff to do close to Cliff Campground; if you're searching for a glorious place to go camping for a couple of days, this is a glorious choice. Cliff Campground is a tremendous campground to use as a base while enjoying the Sierra Madre.

There's no more delightful way to spend four and a half days than to backcountry hike the hard Hurricane Deck Trail. 3,327 feet of variation in elevation and 7.4 miles of backcountry backpacking is what you get at Jackson Trail, a beautiful backpacking trail around here. Roughly one and a half days of hard backcountry backpacking on the Jackson Trail is time well expended. A good backpacking trail featuring a variation between top and bottom of 3,096 feet, and 18.6 miles  
in length, can be encountered around here. This stunning backpacking trail is the Manzana Trail. The Manzana Trail is challenging; it calls for something like two and a half days to backcountry hike.
