Take a little tour to White Fir Creek since you're here at Cherry Valley Campground; in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clavey River. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Cherry Valley Campground has it all. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Cherry Valley Dam, and you'll probably meet some folks from Groveland here. This campground is so stunning. Don't leave Cherry Valley Campground without dropping by Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
