a fun spot for a campground. Don't leave Chaparral Campground without first checking out Pinnacle Rocks, and there's whitewater on San Antonio for all you adrenaline people. Chaparral Campground gets very little rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July
is when it's the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. During your trip to Chaparral Campground you'll meet some people from Soledad for sure, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Bear Gulch

Pinnacles National Monument. Going for a hike on the Balconies Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Pinnacles National Monument is a splendid place nearby.
