then we recommend Arroyo Seco River; a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Hollister Hills State Park. Chaparral Campground is a very well liked campground by the people in Soledad. Chaparral Campground is not the only spot close by, Bear Gulch Reservoir is a close by lake, and there are magnificent sites to look at along the Tunnel Trail.
Some of the things you can do here at Chaparral Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This is such
 
a fun spot for a campground. Don't leave Chaparral Campground without first checking out Pinnacle Rocks, and there's whitewater on San Antonio for all you adrenaline people.
Chaparral Campground gets very little rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. During your trip to Chaparral Campground you'll meet some people from Soledad for sure, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Bear Gulch Dam. This campground is a striking spot to visit. A good location like Fremont Peak State Park close to Chaparral Campground is too nice to leave out, and great hiking is available along the Chalone Peak Trail.
Some people stay at Chaparral Campground when they come to visit Pinnacles National Monument. Going for a hike on the Balconies Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Pinnacles National Monument is a splendid place nearby.
