Visiting Pinnacles National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; going for a hike along the Chalone Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. The surroundings of this campground have such a great deal of things to offer. Fremont Peak State Park is a brilliant place to go if you're at Chaparral Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, San Antonio offers some tremendous whitewater.
    Chaparral Campground is right by the Tunnel Trail; don't leave Chaparral Campground without first checking out Pinnacle Rocks. Around Chaparral Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most while
July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There's no way to get bored in California if you love the outdoors. This place, Chaparral Campground, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. There are plenty of people from Soledad here at Chaparral Campground, and why not explore Bear Gulch Dam if you're here.
Float down the rapids of Arroyo Seco River in a kayak, and of course, everyone loves Hollister Hills State Park. All through the summertime months highs here at Chaparral Campground get into the 70's. All through the dark hours
 
of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 60's while Chaparral Campground night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
