One   of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Chalone Creek Campground is Mount Defiance, and if you're hooked on cool geologic marks try Little Pinnacles. The views at Pinnacles National Monument will blow your mind, and a tremendous place is Bear Gulch. This campground is so gorgeous. Whitewater paddling is great on San Antonio, and the Balconies Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. California is a great outdoors state. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. Bear Gulch Dam is picturesque and it's close to Chalone Creek Campground, and do check out North Fork Chalone Creek since you're here at Chalone Creek Campground.
