If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sierra Madre. Channel Islands National Park is a good site close to Cedar Campground, and Fort Tejon State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is plentiful here in the Sierra Madre. Go for a hike on the Piedra Blanca National Recreation Trail, and the great people of Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura like to hang out close by. Such a perfect choice of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Cedar Campground gets very little rainfall; through February this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Cedar Campground is one of the places to camp here in the Sierra Madre.
