The Central Sierra
 Nevada scenery is always delightful. Obviously there are restrooms here.
Cascade Campground is extremely popular with people in Long Barn. A number of people stay at this campground to take a look at nearby Stanislaus National Forest.
The close by ski area Dodge Ridge receives 33 feet of wonderful snow every winter. Dodge Ridge has 10 good ski lifts that serve its 59 ski runs; the altitude difference is 1,600 feet. 20% of the 815 acres of skiable territory at Dodge Ridge consist of hard ski runs. But there are nice ski runs for young ones and beginners as well; 80% of the ski runs are green and blue. A good 4-mile-from-beginning-to-end whitewater section on Stanislaus River - South
 
Fork is close by. This, the Highway 108 Bridge to Lyons Reservoir sector, is a grade IV-V. Don't go whitewater kayaking or rafting on this section of Stanislaus River - South Fork unless you think your whitewater kayaking or rafting capabilities are very good.
