There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. From Cannon Point Campground you acquire a great sight of Red Dog, and what would a location like Cannon Point Campground be without attention-grabbing close by features like Slate Castle. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Cannon Point Campground. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Third Divide Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Pauley Creek. Cannon Point Campground is a good place of normal rain; January is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest.
