Camp Wishon Campground, Southern Sierra Nevada, California
|
| | My family has been going to Wishon for over 50 years. I prefer to go during the week it is much quieter. My kids love the rock water slide and the fishermans trail provides beautiful hiking and mountain biking. There used to be a store but it closed years ago.The fishing by camp depends on stocking which usually happens on a Thursday. The pumphouse is my kids favorite spot to fish and swim. Hope to spread the word to take care of our national forests Some locals dont seem to care and it ruins it for everyone else. Tread lightly. Says Scott Burgo

The swimming hole is the main attraction! Ive been twice now and love it! getting a spot next to this piece of heaven is a little tough I hear. waterfalls and natural made waterslides and cliff jumping all in one spot make camp wishon the spot to be. Says Chase
