Gulch; visiting Lassen National Forest is a fine thing to do. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. Interesting geology is available here; Mushroom Rock is near Butcher Gulch Campground; the sights at Lassen Volcanic
National Park will blow your mind. Butcher Gulch Campground gets a large amount of water; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month is July. This is such a fun spot for a campground. If you're here at Butcher Gulch Campground, checking out Palisade Cliff

stuff to do next to Butcher Gulch Campground, and it is a very nice campground. This campground is always a bliss. A delightful place like McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park in the neighborhood of Butcher Gulch Campground is too delightful to leave out, and Bullhock Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit.
