There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Pit River; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. Everybody loves McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park; nearby you stumble on the Hanna Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. This camp ground is to be found in the striking |
Southern Cascade Range. A great deal of rain falls at Bunchgrass Campground; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. All through the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Bunchgrass
| Campground, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Bunchgrass Campground dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Lakes are delightful; Big Lake is a lake that's close to Bunchgrass Campground, and going for a hike on the Growler Trail is always a great adventure. at Lassen Volcanic National Park will blow your mind; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail. It's very unhealthy to spend too much time indoors; you have to get out every now and then, and Bunchgrass Campground in California is the outdoors
at its most excellent. All year is a nice time in the Southern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Lassen National Forest is worth a visit if you're at Bunchgrass Campground. There's no way to run out of amusing stuff to do next to Bunchgrass Campground; what a great place for camping it is.
