  At last, the time is right for camping again, and Buckeye Campground is a good local campground if you happen to be in California. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There are plenty of people from Bridgeport here at Buckeye Campground; June Mountain is a fine local ski area.     to do next to Buckeye Campground, and it is a very good campground. Buckeye Campground is a very popular campground among the folks in Bridgeport. Good hiking is available along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuolumne River.
Some of the things you can do here at Buckeye Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground is so charming. Take a little visit to Eagle Creek while you're here at Buckeye Campground, and there's fine hiking along the Lost Canyon Trail.
The great local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Echo Canyon State Park is a nice spot to take a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail

Going for a camping trip here in California is something you have to do. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Buckeye Campground get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Buckeye Campground tend to be in the 10's. Buckeye Campground gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is January while September is typically the driest month.
