Brightman Flat Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   I've been coming to Brightman Flat since I could walk. Our Fav campsite is the one with the big boulder by the fire pit, about 15 yards from the river, with the out house two campsites to the right (if you're looking out from the boulder toward the entrance driveway) I grew up here. Washing my hair in the freezing Stanislaus, and getting the subsequent brain freeze, unless of course we decided to drive the mile to Dardanelle (Population 2, last time I       was there ) and pay 50 cents a minute for hot water.  I enjoyed making dams in the lil creek that runs thru the center of the campground, mostly for moms dishwater. We caught so many trout!!!  I childhood treasure, can't wait to bring   my daughter here. Says Anonymous If natural prettiness is what you wish for, this primitive campground is what you need. This is a primitive camp ground which needless to say means that there are a small number of services. Primitive campgrounds like Brightman Flat Campground is a great way to get out in the wilderness. Getting to this primitive campground can be somewhat tough, but it's well worth it. There is so much entertaining stuff close to Brightman       Flat Campground, and you always have a magnificent time when you're here. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's   swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so it's not possible to get bored. Camping out definitely is a fun thing to do, and Brightman Flat Campground in California is exactly the spot. The splendid pick of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
