Black Rock Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   Went fly fishing there for a day, it was great. Were leaving today to go on a camping trip there. Says Chase Corry Black Rock is a very beautiful place to go visit. The roads are very narrow and there are a lot of cliff sides. My grandfather lived out there for a few years on a ranch which borders the Ishi trail. I have walked the Ishi trail and that is a beautiful experience as well. It runs along a river. The whole drive in there is pretty amazing       you can see the valley below plus the Big Black Rock sticking out of the ground it looks more like its own mountain. Obviously amenities are few in a primitive campground such as this, and primitive camping at a campround like Black Rock Campground is a fine way to be next to the wilderness. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do next to Black Rock Campground, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a splendid       place to do that.
