This campground has so many cool things to offer. The Finger Board Trail offers hiking at its best. Such a wonderful selection of attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always picturesque. When was the last time you went for a weekend of camping? Black Rock Campground in California is such a brilliant site. Going for a hike along the Lafayette Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Malakoff Diggins State Park is worth going to. If you come at the right   time of year, Feather River - South Fork offers some great whitewater, and hiking along the Halls Ranch Trail is splendid fun. Throughout the summertime at Black Rock Campground temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Black Rock Campground. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Plumas National Forest is a delightful place to go if you're at Black Rock Campground, and the fine folks of Truckee-Grass Valley like to hang out close by.
