You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Sierra Summit; Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a great site nearby. Float down the rapids of Mill Flat Creek   in a kayak, and don't leave Black Rock Campground without first going for a hike along the Bobs Flat Trail. The wonderful variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are nice incentives to come. During the long summer days at Black Rock Campground highs are commonly in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Black Rock Campground tend to be in the 20's. This is a brilliant campground. Black Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Black Rock Campground; of course, everyone loves Sierra National Forest.
