  This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If the weather is perfect here at Big Tree Grove Campground, you can go for a hike along the Mumford Bar Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit American River - North Fork. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. This is such a good campground. Hiking along the Pigeon Roost Trail is glorious fun, and soar down the rapids of Rubicon River in a kayak.
