Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and hiking, so possibly you want to stay a bit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Big Springs Campground a wet place; most of the snow falls during December, and July is the month with the least moisture.
