| fun stuff to offer. A pleasant tour to Rattlesnake Flat is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and you can go for a hike on the French Hill Trail. California has loads of outdoors activities. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Big Flat Campground, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Big Flat Campground. So much fun stuff to do at Big Flat Campground, so little time. Camp Ridge Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Big Flat Campground a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. If you come to this campground, you will have a
splendid time for sure. Going for a hike on the Paradise Trail is always a great adventure, and a trip to Six Rivers National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. The panorama of Hardin Mountain from Big Flat Campground is gorgeous, and there are some wonderful whitewater
spots on Hurdygurdy Creek. We should all go camping for a couple of days every so often, and Big Flat Campground in California is such a great spot. Just can't get enough of Big Flat Campground. While you're here at Big Flat Campground you will meet lots of folks from close by
Crescent City North, and not far from Big Flat Campground you'll hit upon Rattlesnake Lake which is a gorgeous lake. This camp ground is one of the wonderful sites to camp here in the Coast Ranges. Hurdygurdy Creek flows through this region, and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State
Park is a tremendous place to explore on a lovely day. There's such a vast number of things to do at Big Flat Campground including fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored.
