If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pauley Creek; Lusk Meadows is right here at Berger Campground. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so almost certainly you want to stay a bit. All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. Lavezzola Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot near Berger Campground; you'll meet a lot of folks from Sierra City here. This segment of California is always a diversion to take a look at during camping season. Church Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and hiking along the Eureka Lake Trail is brilliant fun.
