come at the right time of year, Yuba River - North Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. That right there is lots of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Places like Plumas-Eureka State Park are tremendous to go to, and Packer Dam has
great water scenery. Berger Campground gets a typical amount of rain; through the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July.
