Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Beartrap Number One Campground. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 50's with temperatures at Beartrap Number One Campground dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This camp ground is situated in the lovely Sierra Madre. On a wonderful day you get a view of Reyes Peak from Beartrap Number One Campground; going for a hike on the McGuire Trail is always a great adventure.
Beartrap Number One Campground is a good location of typical precipitation; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Sierra Madre. Good hiking is available along the Middle Sespe Trail.
